In April 2008 we have celebrated the 10th aniversary of our company.
As part of our celebration we would like you to
share some of our successes and the objectives in
developing these outstanding products.

Hem Genetics objective has always been and will continue to be research, breeding and marketing varieties to ensure success for the professional grower. In its first 5 years of existence Hem Genetics was successful in developing ten new series of plants. In the next 5 years another 11 series and a number of individual flower seed varieties were introduced. The current variety list from Hem Genetics is in excess of 260 flower seed varieties. In this brochure, we are pleased to feature 14 new introductions for the upcoming season.

We are proud that several of our varieties have received awards from “All America Selections” and “Fleuroselect”. One of these varieties is the “All America Selections” winner and the “Fleuroselect” Quality mark winner Petunia Limbo violet.

With the development of the Petunia Limbo series, we presented a major breakthrough in Petunia breeding with the development and introduction of the first genetically dwarf Grandiflora Petunia, potentially eliminating the need for PGR’s on Petunias. This success encourages us to continue working on developing new breeding concepts that will benefit all phases of plant production. We remain committed to innovation and continued progress in the development of flower seed varieties.
